Youn Sun Nah Youn Sun Nah, voice Tomek Miernowski, guitars, piano, synthesizer, programming Rémi Vihnolo, drums, double bass, electric bass, programming A decade after the release of Same Girl, recording marking the consecration in 2010 of Youn Sun Nah, she continues to assert herself as a singer resolutely not to be classified, whose all-embracing virtuoso voice can handle jazz, improvisation, opera, pop and world music. With her recent album, a polished made in-studio immersion with the complicity of her producer-arranger Clément Ducol, the Korean has produced her most personal work to date: apart from the revisiting of an eclectic repertoire from Albéniz to Michel Legrand and George Harrison, Marvin Gaye and Leonard Cohen, she leaves plenty of room for the first time for her own compositions, thus confirming a singular talent as a songwriter. An explosive cocktail, which can be taken full advantage of on stage with the complicity of Tomek Miernowski on guitars and keyboards as well as the phenomenal Rémi Vignolo, just as at ease on the drums as on the double bass.
